I am devoted to addressing the psychological needs of people dealing with cancer and other chronic diseases, and helping people move beyond the emotional pain experienced through grief, loss and negative life experiences (trauma) that interfere with the way a person sees the world, themselves, and the way they relate to others. |
Treatment Modalities
I use an eclectic approach to counseling consisting of, but not limited to: Adlerian, Cognitive Behavior, Existential, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative and Solution-Focused theories, based on a Rogerian (Person/Client-Centered) therapeutic model; utilizing a variety of Gestalt exercises and EMDR (trauma) therapy.
